Outlines for Talks

These are outlines that I used to give various talks. They are just my outlines. Please forgive their sketchy nature they were originally intended only for my eyes. I am posting them here because several people asked me to.

I have posted them in two formats:
A PDF version of that document
An HTML that Word generated. This version flattens all of the spacing and indenting, But loads very fast

These are the program descriptions from the talks.

Reading in Good Time
Enjoy the company of parents who are not freaked-out by letting their children develop reading skills in their own time. This session will discuss the emphasis in early reading in the classroom setting and the benefits that unschooling has in allowing your child the time, without the assembly line pressures, to approach reading when they have the ability and are ready to develop joy and satisfaction in it. Some people develop the ability to read earlier and some people later than others. It is just as we all learned to walk and talk at different times in our lives, so too with reading. Feel relaxed, confident and encouraged that this ability will develop in your child.
